Default Fx45 to 350z

will the 4.5L engine in the fx45 fit in a 350z or 350z roadster?

has any tried this? Does this seam possible to the experts out there?

any reasons why this would be a stupid idea if it's doable?

Omer.

The V8 is gonna be a considerable bit wider than the V6. The other problem would be the addition of more oversteer because of the weight increase; something you don't want since our cars understeer a decent amount already. You could get a stroker for nearly the same money as a V8 swap and it should be an easier prospect. Like I said in another post, if you wanna put a V8 in your Z, drop an LS6 in it. Tons of aftermarket, relatively narrow and it should BLAZE. Sure, you will have a mutant hybrid of American muscle and Japanese sophistication but imagine how fun it would be to have a Z06 powered "Z".

WHO DID THIS??? I want links dammit! I have always thought that a V-8 would be so great in a 350Z regardless of aftermarket support. Where did you see this??
