I haven't had any problems with the Hawker Odyssey. I do keep it charged on a Battery Tender if I don't plan to drive it for more than a week. Just don't run any accessories without your engine on. PC680 w/jacket - 16lbs.
To secure the battery down, I use a dry piece of wood and some old denim to block the space between the tiedown bracket and top of battery. It's guetto, and I've been meaning to fabricate some aluminum brackets someday...but then, procrastination set in, and this setup has become permanent. I'm glad there's a cover!

weight loss as way more benefits in other fields as... braking and cornering for example.
a good diet is critical if you drive the car as it should be driven. And you will feel an HELL of a difference with -150lbs. The car is completely different on the track with and without the instructor for example.
There is also a fuel/brake efficiency issue. Think of the extra fuel and extra brakes it takes to accelerate/brake 100lbs of stuff constantly.
I've been runnin the 680 hawker for more than 1 year, and i has never died. Even sitting for more than a week.

no seriously it's not a massive change. You can feel a slight difference. I feel like the car is raised up higher slightly
