Default weight?

no sorry i meant 3200 stock? i dont think it weighs more. Like i said before mine weighed 3860 with me and my friend in it. and our combined weight is 340 meaning my car weighs 3520. i have a stereo but i highly doubt that its 250lbs maybe 100lbs . So i was wondering if anyone else has weighed their cars.? thanks

The base model is the lightest one and it weights just under 3200 lbs.

Veilside350Ztt,
The Track Model is one of the heavier 350Z's, so with your NOS bottles and Stereo (which weights alot more than you would think) 3520lbs would be about right. My Racecar started life as a Base model, we got a Base model because that is actually the lightest Z, we weighed the car before we took it apart, and with 1/3 tank of gas and the spare etc still in the car, it weighted about 3215lbs. I dont know how much fuel you had in your car when you weighted it but remember a Gallon of gas weights aprox 8lbs so if you have a full tank you are adding aprox 136 pounds to the weight of the car.

So with all these posts what have we concluded? Did someone make a list of products weight compared to price to show how much it would cost or worthwhile in reducing weight. I just dont wanna spend all day searching through all the pages in this thread! haha

I feel cliffnotes are needed! haha

Default weight issues

I figured the track model would be one of the litest. Since it doesnt come with leather seats and all that other ****. But its not how much more does the track weigh compared to the base???

by the time you added a LSD, big brake kit w/big rotors, and xenon headlights, it'd weight about the same as the track model anyway

Default stock susp. vs. Nismo

I would love to know the weight difference between stock suspension and the Nismo S-Tune suspension. Anybody done this yet?

just an update on the weight saving of putting racing seat in.
my stock track seat with air bag weight around 19kg with stock sliders.
my bride zeta3 seat with ALEX slider weight around 9kg.
so its 10 kg saving per seat, with the ALEX slider which is around 3kg.
edit: i think bride slider is heavier then 3kg.

Nice update! That is a 44Lb savings if you have two seats. Sweet!

the light is on, i'm not gonna do anything with it, nor i'm gonna care.this is my track car
however, i think u can use some kind of resistor to fool the sensor, not sure though.
you might want to search this a little bite.
hope this helped./

My enthusiast I put together for solo2 this year wieghs in 3049 lbs with a quarter tank of gas. Other than the list below it is completely stock.

So far this is how the car is set up:
05 350z enthusiast
Koni SA yellows
Hotchkis FSB set full stiff
Carbotech bobcats w/ super blue fluid
Amuse TI Y-pipe
Jic TI exhaust
Enkie RPF1 + some 23mm spacers
275/40/17 kumho 710's
HKS panel air filter
no floor mats.

I'm pretty sure I could drop another 200-300lbs without touching the interior. If I wasn't limited by the solo2 rules.

The wheels and tires drop close to 80 lbs. I dropped about 150- 160 lbs. total.

It looks like your car is on a lift kit, especially in the rear. Could this be a result of too much weight loss?
