Gear oil in the tranny - yes!

Not sure what is out there that works better than stock. its different on different gear boxes. that being said, redline products are generally better than oem fluids in all transmissions. i'm not sure what weights or friction modifiers, etc to use in the 350z however..

I run Redline MT90 for Cali + track use. In colder climates some run an MTL/MT90 mix. Note whatever gearoil you choose , make sure "it does not contain friction modifiers". The Z/G 6mT synchros need a little more friction to aid cold shifting operation. The addtion of FMs to the 6MT make it hard to shift when cold , since it makes the synchros too slippery. FMs do ;however, work well in the LSD.

I live in HAWAII...does not get cold......

Do you need to flush all the gear oil out??? or will it be ok to have some left in there...since I wont worry about cold weather what would be the best choice....

Redline MT90 ??????

Yes, there's a drain and fill plug on the outside of the differential housing. Can't miss it. Needs a 10mm hex bit drive socket.
