What i heard is that

2 collect the tranny fluid3
3 take a couple of bolts
4 unplug the VB
Am i correct or am i missing something

Its not hard but you can not remove all the screws to the valve body. I sent you a picture of what ones to take out to make the unit come down. Without the picture you wont know what screws to take out.

Yes you drain the tranny fluid remove the transmission pan. Then remove valve body screws that are numbered, but be careful the unit is heavier than it seems. Make sure you unplug the connections before you remove all the screws. I hope this helps you out. If anyone else needs the picture pm me.
Thanks Glen

No offense but the organization of this GB is a little off.
Are we supposed to send the whole VB, or the same parts lists as the Stillen instructions? I assume we just send it to SGP care of? Is SGP going to post in here? I'm all for this, but to reduce downtime for some of us does it make sense for everyone to send them in at once?

Yea it would reduce down time but everyone wants to get it done ASAP nobody is going to say o ill wait guys go ahead we all want it. Plus if you r sending 10 to 11 VB 14 days is not bad at all it takes 6 to 7 days for one so do the math. I think the downtime is ok for the amount been sent if you want u can wait n send it when nobody else has sent theirs.
Mark even told me start sending them.
Remember to get the GB we need ten people.

A little off topic but going with the AT tranny... Does anyone know if you can change the direction of the triptronic shifter??? It would be soooo much better to be able to pull down for an upshift...
