Default Tranny Fluid Dipstick???

Hey guys...

Does anyone know where the dipstick is to check the tranny fluid on the 6MT?? I didnt see it in the manual. I remember reading somewhere in there that its not even a dipstick, but rather some sort of screw, like on a diff, that you take out to check it. Also remember reading that its one of those "Bring it to a nissan dealer to have it checked BS", which is probably why I couldnt find it in the manual.

I found the clutch fluid is behind the right compartment on drivers side, where the brake fluid is. But where is the Tranny fluid??

Thanks in advance...

So then every time you want to check your fluid level you must remove the "fill" plug and check that its just oozing out of the hole?? How often should one do this since its not as convienent as with a auto having a dipstick?

Sorry but this is my first MT

behind the plenum on the passenger side. 10 mm bolt secures it. you should download the FSM so you know how to read it.
