All said and done between parts and labor my 3.9 FD was $1600 installed

How exactly does it help the car, and what difference will you notice once installed? Any downsides to doing this mod?
Thanks in advance.

I dont have any videos of the car, things you will notice are as follows: getting thru the gears quicker, a slight decrease in gas mileage (maybe .5 mi/gal), your top speed is 157 (who goes that fast anyways). You will have slightly higher rpms in each gear, doing 85 in 6th gear your at 3500rpms. And stock EVo's and STi's are in the rear view mirror Oh yea, and get used to barking the tires in 3rd and 4th gear

I am in the same boat guys. Cant decide between fly/clutch with redline trainy fluid. Or final drive. If I go with the final drive do I need the front and rear pinion bearing, pinion seal and pinion nut and crush sleeve. Want to make sure I am getting the power down to the ground effectively.

You need the new nut and crush sleeve, the other parts arent required but I guess they wouldnt hurt any. The crush sleev from my understanding is the most important as the stock one cant be reused. You'll also need shims when the gear is installed so check beforehand with your installer if that will be an issue or if they will need to order them, I made this mistake and my car was in the shop for an unexpected extra 4 days.
