I'm looking to entertain the idea of getting performance heads and an aggressive cam package. I'm looking for getting the most out of my car NA (though I may have a little something to spray sometime soon). The only reason I made a thread for this is most NA guys just do bolt ons and call it quits, I can't see too many people who have really gotten into making an NA monster.

I know nismo makes a set of heads with smaller combustion chambers (or something) that increases the amount of compression in the engine. I would be curious how much we can pick up from a set of well designed heads/cams like that. with proper ecu management of course..

I want to do something like this eventually but building an NA monster will take a whole new VQ35, so I'm going to wait until the current motor goes before that buildup starts.

I have seen the Nismo heads with a titanium valve train that is able to handle 8500rpms. Of course, you would need a lot more work on your bottom end.

Tomei has some very nice aggressive cams, although I think Espirit just put some out as well. Nismo has the S1 competition cams which are little more aggressive than their R-tune.

yep...finally have the remaining components, so final assembly is to start end of next week and we will get them on and tuned ASAP
