thats one thing I have noticed - I have not lost any practical MPG in my mixed use driving. I still get 340 to ever single tankful, the same as I got when my car was new and unmodded

a cai intake improve your mpg by atleast 1.5mpg....the article in speed mag has shown that the 3.9 + tilton flywheel....beat all 4 fi cars at the track by more than a full second....it seems like these mods are the truth...not hype and myth.

Today I drove 30 miles on the highway in one trip and according to my fuel economy screen I averaged 28.4 mpg while cruising at 72-75 mph. Not bad considering that at those speeds I am revving at or slightly above 3000 rpm in 6th gear...

Are you implying that the 350EVO ring/pinion will soon be sold under the NISMO name?
Is there any objective way during assembly to ensure correct fitment/shim placement?
Will a competent shop know how to install this right the first time, or will it need trial/error tweeking?
Thanks,
Mika

You will love the performance gains you get from the 3.9 and should see it soon in the Nismo catalog.

whether you use these gears or not, you still gotta shift 3 times in the 1/4 mile. Might as well get 10% more power....In the context of NA

I haven't done the math but also wonder at what rpm you'd be while crossing the traps.

I did a before and after review of the 3.9 when it first came out including the 1/4 mile. I did not drop any time from my 1/4 mile e.t., but I did pick up 2 mph on the trap speed. I don't know if you can find the review. I also did a 0-60 in the review and ran a 5.1 second 0-60 recorded via a OBDII datalogger.
