Tonight i get a SES light?
When was the last time you got gas? Check youtr gas cap first, you'll throw a SES if the cap is not tight.
If that's not it take it to autozone or similar and they can tell you the the code and what it is.

Yeah, without the code it's really hard to tell what if anything you did. My wife was on her way to work last Monday and the CEL came on. Pulled the code and it indicated a problem with cat or O2 sensors. Cleared the code and checked it again Friday and all was OK. Who knows what caused it to throw a CEL in the first place? Yours could have been a one-time thing too.
if it's a multiple cylinder misfire, you could be running a little too lean to make the ECU happy
also as stupid as it sounds, when I put my hyper voltage kit on my car, my SES light hasn't come one since - weird. The ECU just doesn't know how to handle certain situations. It'll still run fine, it just thinks something is wrong cause it wasn't designed to run with modded car parts

My code was a 1283
Fuel air metering
I am just going to reset it and see what happens.
Didn't work
Edited:
Is the SES light and the CEL light that Techno-Square referes to the same thing?
I can't get it to flash.
I just disconnected the battery hot side and that made it go away.

I got SES light too not long after I installed my new spark plugs. Have tried to reset it a few times but still coming back on. Since my car has 46000km now, would that be a time to service@dealer warning light??

Wondering what came of all this. I am getting the same code. I sent you a PM about it. Just want to know if you went to the dealer and what happenned.
They ordered me a front O2 sensor for the drivers side. I picked it up and installed it myself, told them my mech would do it. It did not fix the problem. I think the mech that ran the diagnostic said it was the rear O2 sensor, not the front. Anyway, i still have a SES that won't go off.
