Default Engine Mod Questions for you mod gods.

When I get my Z thiis will be the 1st car I'v done engine mods too so I was wondering if you guys had some pro's and cons of Turbo vs. Supercharger.
Also I was wanting to get some suggestions on what mods would be good to do to a daily driver that might go to the track or strip on occassion? I'm a real noob to engines most of my experience with cars has been in pain and body so I'm wanting to learn more.

-Thanks:

I did search but I didn't find any posts with advise on suggested mods for a car that will be a daily driver.

As far as posting the question about pr0's and cons in F/I section I'll try that.

F/I on this car is not a good idea, especially if you want a daily driver. The only advice I can give you on a worry free FI Solution for this car would be the HKS Supercharger and the Stillen Stage 2. These seem like the safest options but also yield the least amount of power, however, Id rather be safe and have fun than have a 500HP timebomb. If you're like me you will probably be happy with the amount of power on tap in the 350Z and maybe want a little HP boost. In that case NA bolt ons and things like flywheels, final drive, and pulleys will make the car amazingly fast and fairly worry free. I think I will just run this motor till it dies (200k miles! ) and then swap in something new from the japanese market that was made with boost in mind.

Thanks. Yea I don't want something hard on the motor but was thinking about a few engine mods for the track, My family always gets together on the last saturday of the month at the drag strip and I'd like to be able to stand a chance against the STV Cobra's, Evo VII, and SRT-4 that my cousins and uncles drive. Now I think its time I show up in an amazing smile that can wipe that smile off their faces.

I would PM Sharif@Forged (Forged Internals) and ask him what he suggests. He can get about anything you need, so your available parts are infinite (as long as it's made ). He's probably going to ask you what your price range is, what kind of power you are looking for, what the car will be used for, location, etc.
