Sounds right considering two local stock Z's dyno'd 262-263whp on a dynpack. So you have roughly gained 15-25 whp given your mods sounds over a stock Z decent gains....btw I would send the TS flash back your a/f is all over the place.
Thanks for the replies.
Yeah the A/F is "a little" lean 3.5-4.5k so back to TS I go. Overall pretty happy though.
Missed you this morning Rickdogg. I was hoping to get an A/F differential between the DynaPack and ultrawideband I think that you have installed. Silly sponsors
Maybe next time huh?

Id really like to know how that happened, Im not contradicting, just curious. Dont Z's normally output around 230-240 whp? So how did stock Z's output 262-263 whp that would mean those cars are coming from the factory with about 320 hp. . .right. . .or something around that. Thats just an educated guess seeing as how the M3 has 333 crank and usually outputs 271 whp.
Get back to me on this b/c Im really interested.

My Z on a dynojet was getting 270 corrected HP and 235 torque for a automatic with a stall convertor. This was at AAMS dyno though, but my air fuel was 13.1-13.3 across the board. So if your airfuel ratio gets better you can probably gain some power again. Those are good dyno numbers regardless. I would like to know the dyno numbers after your air fuel gets better.
Thanks Glen
Thanks Glen
yeah it's a dyno/elevation/octane/temp/weather issue cause Zmego1985 should be killing most NA Z's
also it's how the ECU is currently running and possibly what year model with the ECU

Thanks Sentry my Z is finally running good after all the problems i had in the past. AAM said i should have a few more ponies, because a stall convertor shows a little bit of a loss on a dyno, because of more slippage than a factory convertor. I just ordered up the G-Tech SS and motordyne #3 plenum cooler setup, and will let everyone know my times as soon as i can once i get both of them installed. Its getting cold in Masschusetts at night around the high 40's so i should have good times.
Thanks Glen

Most people dyno on dynojets, this is a different kind of dyno, these read lower, for example I dyno'd 239whp on a dynojet stock. With my mods I dyno'd at 262whp on the same dynojet. A few friends had their stock Z's dyno'd locally on a dynapack(same as above) and dyno'd 257-260whp. That does not mean their Z's are faster or as fast or as powerful, its a different dyno, you really cant compare numbers.

yeah a dyno is only useful in measuring yourself against yourself or maybe against others on that same dyno
283whp sure sounds nice though, but can be a little misleading.
some people have gone to their local whatever dyno and dynoed 200 or even 195whp stock. Others go to their local whatever dyno and dynoed 260whp stock. IMO it's a myth to say some engines are stronger than others. Maybe back in the era when engines were handmade, but they're all the same now. A good break in (whatever that might actually be) might equate to 5whp or something, but otherwise if you have 2 Z's in the same location, same gas, same temp, same mileage, I think it's going to come down to the ECU and how you drive your car typically with how the ECU adjusts
