suspension differences between track and touring model
any difference in suspension between these two models?
i just traded my track model for a touring model and from the brochure, it looks like they are both the same.
the dealer said they were both different.
what do you guys think or know?
thanx,

People are really paying the same money for a track as for a touring just to get big brakes and living without all the creature comforts? And people think think that anyone who believes an electric supercharger works is nuts. My 91 supercharged mustang had drums in the back and with some SS lines and decent brake pads stopped just fine. This thing has large discs all around to start. I guess whatever floats your boat.

The stock brakes...besides looking smallish, are AWESOME performers on the street. Now, I'm sure they fade alot more than the Brembos, but i havn't reached ther limit, and I dont drive like a granny. They completely suprised me today at their (lack of ) distance it took to stop me in an emergency
and I'll be willing to bet that over 80% of people buying the track models will never take them to a track, so it must be the big brake thing that turns them on. Not trying to start a fight here by any means, I just can't understand why someone would give up all those creature comforts when they are paying for them just to get bigger brakes when the stock ones work fine.
nah you got it right, both brake packages are capable of stopping harder then the tires are capable of gripping. but after 10 stops in a row, the stock ones wont.
but just like you said, this wont happen on the street. thats why its called the track. if you dont ever take the car to the track... well yeah... pretty useless. but hey, its their money. who cares
as for suspension differences, like everyone said, no difference, but thats a common lie, my dealer told me, I didnt even correct him, I was just like sure fine, whatever works for your to sell the car.
