What other years and modles of nissans used our motors? were there any differences? such as heads cams or CR

newer altima's & maxima's
displacement is the same 3.5l, but thats about it
heads, timing, ports, exhaust, ecu all different

 

maxima and altima have diff ecu's but motor is idenical and heads ARE 100% the same as 350z there is no diff and all have same comp and actually up until 300hp cams were the same to.

 

if this is truly the case then i would think every maxima and altima owner out there would be looking for z ecu's for a really easy mod?!!?!??!?!!! then maybe that would increase your maxima's rpm ability even further to like 9800, and maybe if you bought some special spark plugs from advanced then you could even get over 10,000!!!!!!! i've got a pathfinder, so i guess it's all the same too, anybody know where i can get some jwt valves for a pathfinder so i can run 13 sec 1/4 miles in 4x4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'll be just like a subaru then yeeeeeeehowaaaa~~!!!!!!!

 

this is the case and the harnesses are diff for fwd engines, and technosquare can flash 350z info on maxima ecu's 2k-2k3 as far as i know.

one guy on max site with not many mods with 2k2 has this done has 273whp and runs 12.85 @108 NA His screen name is SR20DEN youll find him on this site and there are vids of his run in the 12's
