Jason, see you Monday (btw, did you sell your brakes?).
After the first time I could probably do it without the manual by myself within 12 hours.. Installed and driving away.

LMAO... Oh well i was helping a friend replace his head gasket on his civic. B16 fully built with a 67mm turbo. I war installing the cams caps and torquing them down with 3 steps, and broke 3 bolts . Turns out that the cams had been removed several times before so the bolts had been torque down like 4 times before. So after a trip to the honda dealer for all new bolts @ nearly $1 each i finished it for him

Well tonight I finished installing all 4 cams, timed the cam gears, put on the timing chain, the chain tensioners and chipped away all the old RTV. Car will run for the first time tommorrow with my new setup.

I ll let you know if it was all worth it. If it doesnt snow on Sunday I will also get a dyno.

i forgot about this mod when you pm'ed me. it does work, it is just making it so the ecu sees more air going through the maf and it enters into the intake behind the throttle plate. unfortuneately it won't work on the blow through greddy set up i have as it would of been drawing in unmetered air, so i went about it differently. but as luke figured out, you can do this really cheap.

Well I went to home depot with this diagram from Jim Wolf.. got everything to 15.76 with tax
http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/wol...BILITY_FIX.PDF

Put that bad boy in and idle is much better..

What you do is T the vacuum line going to the throttle body ..
Go from that T to the other T...
Now splice the line that going from the rear left valve cover that goes to the bottom of the intake pipe.

Take me 10 minutes.
Any questions PM me

did it make a big difference? What does it do? Does it raise the idle higher or it jus stays at normal rpm and stabalizes?

It made a pretty big difference.. No more drop in RPM like before

What does it do
It creates more vacuum pressure so there is not as much fluctuation in RPM when letting off.

It raised the idle and also made it not drop like before..

You can do this yourself ... its really easy. Just print out that diagram and go into home depot to the fittings section and get the right sizes
