Yes, you need the stub axles from a LSD diff they will cost you about $300, your open diff axles will not work unless your doing a Quaife lsd install. Then your going to pay about $300-400 to have it all installed by a qualified tech that has the specialized tools required to do the job. Frankly, your most cost effective way to get a oem VLSD is to buy a entire sealed pumpkin that has all the parts you need, and you can to the install yourself. Cost is a lot lower then trying to do it by parts only. $800-$900 vs $500 or so with a pumpkin. As someone that did a oem VLSD swap via parts, DO NOT do it that way, WAY too expensive!

The Nismo clutch type LSD does come with all the required parts and is vastly superior to the oem VLSD in what it does.

Agreed....I have done it both ways and it is much more cost effective to find a factory complete VLSD rear diff and swap the whole unit in.

by axle stubs do you mean the stubs or flanges off the side of the lsd with the 6 bolt pattern?
