Before you put the pulley on read this months issue of Grassroots Mag. They put a light weight pulley on a 91 Nissan and got less hp and tq. Great issue on each mod and what they actually did, they do a dyno before and after. Read it! The two best mods where:

Replace OEM fuel filter for $2
Advance the timing (I think this cost them $2 too)

thanks Mood, but none of those directly correspond to the 350z and this particular mod. The Z is not a 1991 nissan.

underdrive pulleys on some cars are really not the way to go, and i think that's part of what is driving threads like this. people read or hear about things in relation to other vehicles somewhat, and they think that those results are the same for all cars. It's good to talk about this to get the misconceptions and myths out of the way.....

If you order with us you get Gates belts, which are great belts...
Also, I will extend the special offer we had for last month on the UR crank pulley through the first of the year, which is $180 plus belts/shipping.
just type in for the coupon code: URPULLEY

Since I've been getting a lot of emails in regards to the pulley sets, and possible discounts, we will be doing a discount for the next two months on the pulley set as well.
the discount will be for $20 off the set price, (this still does not include belts or shipping)...

use discount code URPULLEYSET when ordering.
(for 350z, g35)

Tony do you guys have the UR crank pulley in black? The only one offered on your website is silver. Thanks.

The UR pulleys are only offerd in silver now, for some reason they discontinued a lot of their colors a few months ago...
If you want black, the stock lightweight pulley comes in black, and is listed on our site as well...

Just a reminder, keep an eye on the vendor for sale and specials sections, we have the pulleys and discount codes listed there, the single crank as well as the set now have specials going on.....

with UR it only makes a HP difference if you go with the crank pulley, although the other pulley are a tad lighter, they are pretty much for looks, to have a matching set.

You will probably gain a tad more power with the UR pulley on an NA car simply because it's an underdrive pulley, but I have heard great things about both. I can tell you I had a nice and noticeable gain with my UR crank pulley, (although I never dynoed it for just that one mod).

But now since I'm using a SC, i can't use an underdrive pulley anymore. So we are installed the KJR stock sized-lightweight pulley on my car today. So i'll post my opinions on this one later on, and let you all know what I think

if you just get the single UR Pulley (crank) do you have to change the belts?
