Default Any break-in for the 350evo 3.9FD?

I'm getting my FD installed this week, and I don't see any sort of recommended break-in in the instructions, but what do you guys think? After install am I ready to have fun, or do I need to baby it for a while?

Did you install a LSD along with it? If so, then you need to break in the LSD.

Nah, gonna use the stock LSD... I don't really track my car, so I couldn't see spending the money on it.

i dont know the specifics for these gears, but on vipers we re-gear, we recomend about 200 miles of "normal driving" ie not hard accellerations, to help set up the gear pattern. i dont think you will have any problems, but i wouldn't exactly lay a wheel out of the driveway.......have fun i am sooooooooo jealous of anyone with 3.9 fd

My installer told me to drive approximately 100 miles of normal driving before driving it hard. I have the stock LSD. It would be interesting to see what BJ's opinion is on this.

depends on if you get lsd, purchase a full pumpkin or buy parts and have it put together and installed anywhere from 250 - 750. so 4 to 10 hours of labor depending on individual cases...

say you buy a preassembled pumpkin look more for the 4-5 hours of labor.

i cant give you an accurate quote mine was a special case, sry.

Approximately $400 if you keep your stock LSD.
