Default Aftermarket radiator?

I've tried a search but couldn't find much..

Unless you are racing with an NA engine that quickly overheats, are there any other advantages to after market performance radiator? I do some track events but mostly city driving and right now can't really think of any advantages.

Thats what I figure. I was thinking that maybe, just maybe, that since it helps cools the engine better than the stock, the longevity of the engine would increase

Don't buy it for NA applications unless you are going to track it

I always get so excited when Rickdogg enters my threads

Hey Rick, wheres the link to see pics/specs of your car? I've been thinking alot lately about doing more track events and possibly even turning my Z into a "barely street legal" track car. How much does your Z weigh right now? Thanks.

The Z weighs in around 2750-2800 now with a roll bar, but it will change once I get the full cage built. There are other plans at this point, but I don't know what to expect at this point because money and time is an issue right now/

Thanks Rick. Like I said, I'm deciding if I should turn my Z into a something like yours but after much thought, I think I'm gonna try to find a balance between tracking and comforts.

Also, you ever gonna post results of your race? I personally would like to know.

My tracking is unfortunately at a hault right now due to some things I need to take care of. I will probably try to enter some sort of Time attack towards the end of the year

most engines have a specific ideal operating temp they should be at. having too much cooling can be a bad thing. the stock radiator should be fine unless u track the car hard or have fi.
