I've known Eric and Ralph longer than you, they are stand up guys. I even talked with Eric and he stated that the car in question was a strong car from the factory. It just seems that if folks are going to post about cracking the nut, then they ought to be ready to defend it. I look forward to the final results.

There we go.

MRC you are totaly getting out of line, rude and senseless. HE ALREADY POSTED A DYNO SHEET, and Sharif Is one of the best known tuners who has been here since the begining unlike some people. You can't just come out of no where and start bashing and questioning other pros who have been here quite some time. And it is not only this post you question everyother Tuner who puts out somthing great....
. Seriously keep your comments to yourself if they are negative NO ONE CARES. No other tuner starts battles unlike you... you need to mature sir.

Sharif you are the man, MRC if I was you I would just say sorry and wait for the dyno. I am not a vendor or the smartest man on earth but seriously if I was a vendor I would not question someone else on the forum. I would just say hell yeah nice numbers come buy some stuff from me in the future because I am a stand up honest guy. Sharif could be selling the same stuff as you for 10% more and right now I would buy it from him. Maybe I should have kept my nose out of this post but then again maybe you should have too. I hope you hit 300+ on the next dyno G I love my car. I only wish I had a strong Z from the factory.

It is ENTIRELY NATURAL for a competitive tuner to question another tuner's results when it is seemingly obviously out of line, and not by just a little. No matter how much everyone loves a tuner, that doesnt turn fiction to fact... and that is that. Another thing you need to consider is this....
You feel it might be DISRESPECTFUL to another tuner by questioning his dyno results as authentic. But what you are not looking at is the other seat. Do you not think its disrespectful to ALL OTHER TUNERS when one tuner has unfair and unrealistic dyno graphs raising expectations and making other tuners look inadequate?
There is a lot more going on in the tuner scene than the consumer knows about, let me tell ya all. The information you guys read on these forums, like it or not, is 1/3 truth, and 2/3 speculation and lies... and only those in the profession can even attempt to accurately spot one from another. One mans speculation turns into another man's fact. You all need to be as skeptical as possible on these forums, as the information is much like an infomercial... accurate only as far as one's belief. All day long I look at these forums and see how everyone is holding information spread by inexperienced individuals and putting it on a pedestal as if it was written in the bible. Those who have been a part of forum communities for many years have seen this a million times and know better... well this is a wake up call for any forum noobs... this stuff is not reality... more of a soap opera really and trust me any REAL GOOD INFORMATION is not going to be shared publicly on here. There ARE MANY individuals who make a living off of feeding you what you want to hear around here.

No! Let's give it another month
Drama, drama, drama...
Okay, I know the guys at CPRacing and Sharif fairly well and while I may not agree 100% with them all the time, I think its safe to say they are good business men and would not intentionally mislead folks.
After reading 20 pages of this dribble, it appears to me the basic question is this..
Is the CPRacing Dyno Dynamics dyno with correction factor actually comparable to a DynoJet (the industry standard)?
Here is my offer which should benefit everyone involved...
In the near future, I take the day off from work and let CPRacing dyno my car on their dyno, then take it directly to Dave Brown Motorsports and have it dynoed on his DynoJet (Dave is a straight up guy who tunes for racing, not for retail as Lightning Guy has already pointed out). We compare the numbers. Since I will be taking a vacation day from work for this and volunteering my car which currently doesn't need to be dynoed, I expect someone else to pick up the dyno tabs. Because CPRacing and Sharif are running businesses, I will schedule around them. I would ask they pick a date that works for them on or after Feb 1st AND that **they** schedule my time on the Dave's Brown DynoJet that same day.
That should end this discussion one way or the other for the best.
If the DD reads low, then it's even better than we thought
If the DD is close, then there truly is 300+rwhp potential to be had in NA form
If the DD reads high, then we learn more about what the true correction factor should be for DynoJet numbers.
I don't really care what numbers I pull... conditions have changed since my best pulls and really all I've ever cared about is net gain and having a safe tune. What I know is that I pulled into CPRacing with, at best, a poorly tuned Vortech (at worst an *untuned* Vortech) and baselined at 340rwhp. On that same dyno, after much deliberate tuning by Eric, Ralph, and Sharif, I rolled out with 451rwhp (not even my peak pull). That's a helluva gain. And if you say the 451 number is high because it is not using the right correction factor, then the original 340 was high and the net gain is just as relevant.
I'm with phunk on this one... let's just isolate the one variable that is in question here and let all these folks go back to their business.
