Hi I have a 2003 350Z with DC headers, HKS cat back exhaust, AEM pully kit, AEM cold air, kinetix SSV manifold and kinetix cats that I dont use. I dont want to go the turbo or supercharger route and was curious what you guys think I should do next to get another 20-40hp if possible? Please help dont know what to buy next. cams? ecu? HELP!

 

Cams, UTEC, with a solid tune should be close or at 300whp and thats 375ish crank hp.... which low to mid 12's easier to get traction!

 

Nitrous= fast= extra 100hp = around 500$

 

Well if you're talking about acceleration, I'd suggest getting the 3.9 final drive. You can even further improve that by getting a lightened flywheel. Also, you'll need to make sure you get plenty of traction so a good set of sticky tires will help as well as taking out excess weight (weight reduction). If that still doesn't make you happy, slap on a bottle.

 

just get nitrous and run 12s and make 03 04 cobras pissed

 

All of the guys who have replied each have made great points... If you want to go faster but dont want to go FI then you are going to need to do the following:

Evo 3.9 final drive gears
Cams
Grounding kit (not much but can help a little)
Get rid of your cats and do something like test pipes
Some sort of piggyback such as UTEC or UNICHIP
And lastly... You need to have someone tune your car who knows what the hell he is doin!

 

Add to list of mods you said, a CAMS and a solid tuning with UTEC and you should achieve your goal

 

Thanks for the replies I forgot to add that I do have stillen lightweight flywheel and a bully clutch. but which cams sould I get,where can I get utec and a better final drive ratio? Also does anyone know where I can get it tuned around montreal or 3-5 hours from here? I know im asking for alot
