Default Wierd clicking sound

2003 350z
33,490 miles

I have noticed in the last 500 miles or so that when i am starting in 1st and release the cluch i get a wierd clicking sound comming from the rear of the car. (at least what it sounds like when i have the windows open)

either the sounds come from tranny or axle.

i don't notice it when i go to second gear. but its really annoying. hence i think tranny. i know quite a few people have had problems with transmissions in the '03s. curious if this is it and i should go to the dealer ASAP before my warranty expires.

any suggestions? or what this actually might be?

This problem has been discussed many times before and is probably more common than tire feathering..

there is a TSB on it..
search for "click" and "axel" in the repairs forum..

If it is not the axel click then check your tire, you might have a nail in it.

It sounds like the rear axle problem... i had it. Took my car to a dealership left it for a few days for a fwe TBS and got the car back with none of the problems fixed.
