I just used a piece of CF sticker to put behind it to close the holes from the lighter up.
It's hidden and you have to open to get to it so no accidental changes.
Good/bad idea? What do you think?

Well, in the center console, it can be accidentally changed. If you run it to the VDC area, you have to lengthen the wires and cut the blank to fit it. I pondered the Q all morning until i came up with this area. I think installing a LED that turns on when the trap is opened would be a good idea, so you can see the # at night.

 

Mine is next to the VDC. Cutting the blank wasn't too bad at all.

 

Great place to put it, kinda out of the way though. But who switched on the fly. Very OEM looking.
