i'd imagine it'd be pretty intense of a swap considering the G35x sedan is a different chassis. I'm guessing you couldn't just bolt the transmission onto the VQ and have the output shafts for the 4wd in the front just line up.

As for the RB setup....you'd also have to do a **** load of custom fabrication to get that to work. I'm waiting until the day the upcoming GTR motor will be affordable from a wreck to be able to drop it in the Z33 chassis.

That would probably cost well over 10,000.00 Custom Fabrication costs more btw. As well if you ever Fed something up then it would cost a lot to fix. In my opinion just save for the GTR or sell the Z+ your 15grand and get a used Carrera C4 or C4s. I could have easilly sold my car and done this but now I never have to worry about seeing a car that looks like mine and someone asked me today what it was. I will get excellent traction but around the twisties it will be nothing like what an AWD could do. I somewhat regret not getting the Porsche but when I get the Greddy and I have the power with the looks then I will be happy. Basically if you want an AWD car that looks good look at the C4 or if you got a lot of money look at the Turbo's but otherwise you're stuck with a RWD in the Z. BTW I know some people like the look of an EVO or STI but recognize that girls generally don't like the way they look and most people look at them as if they were rice burners/toy cars.

It would definatly cost alot i have been under the g35x and from what it looks like it appears the block is different to make some room for the front differential and if anyone here has ever seen it the transfer case and front driveshaft are so weak looking i think one good launch under F/I power would blow it appart. Maybe jason could jump in and comment of if the block is different. I althoguh it apears our spindals with the right hubs will accomidate front axles. and you would have to switch to the g35 5at so the transfer case bolts up and you would need the wiring harness, computer and sensors from the g.

They can sell the G35 for $33k because it COMES with that drivetrain. The cost of the drivetrain and custom fabrication to make it fit. If I had to guess, I'd say the conversion would cost upwards of $15-20k.
