went in to get my oil change, and was told that there is a recal on my car for a fuel filler hose crap. so I said sure go ahead I get a phone call later telling me that I may need to have my differential bleed and re done. So I say sure no prob! then the phone calls wouldnt stop!!!! Oh we found a problem you need a hose that was not propperly installed on your differential that needs to be replace. Oh you need an all wheel alignment. Oh your brakes need pads and new rotors and some stupid kit. Oh we found a that your tourque arm was not tighten another 95 bucks of labor. Oh your window needs attending another 95 bucks!! oh your up for a flushing on your fuel injectors another 125 bucks. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! everytime my phone rang i just started to shake in fear they would find something else wrong!!!! god went in for a 55 dollar oil change and free recal and turned out to be a freaking mess didnt get my car back for 2 days!!!!!!!
im going to take all this up with the nissan dealership I bought it from which is COSTA MESA NISSAN they said the car was in great shape!!! my a$$ Mossy told me diffrently. ahhh what stress I was saving that money for exaust or rims!! my question is this common?

Either Costa Mesa Nissan or Mossy is or was bull $hitting you . I would be very weary of a dealer that keeps calling with more stuff thats wrong , over and over . Unless you trust them completly...my .02 cents

Can't they get in big trouble for selling you a car that has been wrecked without disclosing that information?

$55 oil change? Way too much unless you're using the expensive stuff like royal purple. Even then, still way too much.

Flushing the fuel injectors for 125 bucks? Chevron makes a fuel additive for like $5. It's basically "techron" or their proprietary additive, only more concentrated than normal. If they do more than add this $5 bottle of liquid, I would sure like to know what it is that they do.

Was your window malfunctioning before?

I don't know how much they charged for an alignment, but you can get alignments done for $60-75.

Did they show you the brake pads and rotors? Usually brake pads start squealing badly when they are low on material. Did they measure the rotor thickness?

Sounds like you probably got taken for a ride.

yeah the window was doing some weird stuff like going down on its own. yes they showed me the brakes they were toasted and the rotors are what I didnt see. they hook up the car to a machine and it flushes out the fuel injectors I use lucas fuel additive 1 months so i know what your talking about.
alightment was like 70 bucks

they probably figured anybody who'd pay 55 for an oil change won't mind a few more grand for needed fixes..

and people wonder why dealers advertise free 110 point check ups...

I don't even think the 350Z HAS a torque arm on it since it's IRS.

My boss recently took his car in for an oil change at a dealership. The dealer called him at work later and said the coolant needed flushing. Thinking quickly he asked, "Why, I took it to you guys two weeks ago to have that done, you charged me $150. Did you not do it then or are you trying to scam me now?". Service guy said that he would check the coolant again, then came back and said it looked fine and he must have been mistaken.
