Default Lot's of new stuff installed... took it for a short test drive..

on my list of things to do this weekend, was the stack of mods i have been ignoring in my spare room..

tonight i installed/performed the following:

Install Phillips 6000K Bulbs
Install Hawk HPS Pads (F/R)
Fix angle of Tein ABS wire holder (TSB from Tein.. all new kits will have it done already..)
Install new LED sidemarkers (version 2)
Install Injen CAI (Blue in color)

Everything went smooth. The filter looks cool behind the nismo grille
the bulbs are excellent, just like txstyle said they would. note: when removing circle cover from the back of the bulb housings... notice the orientation... the tabs are not symmetrical... its off by about 10 deg. what a PITA!
the new pads bite really nice. stock ones are made by ferrodo for brembo. the front pad plates are the same for the skyline GTR, and the rears are the same for a 1970's volvo front brakes. haha! i will let you know about the dusting over the next couple days. new LED sidemarkers are brighter, and more waterproof than the first set i did.
the intake is loud... i will get dyno numbers next weekend.

i still need to replace the front SS brake lines, because of the damage from the Tein wire bracket. tein has been wonderful, and so has streetsports (whom i bought them from). i got a new set of SS lines at no cost.

also, i am still needing an alignment... bankston nissan could not get it on their machine. i need to go to this custom shop which does the alignment from a pit, and the car stays on the ground.
i dont have pics, but can take some shots if necessary...

Nice... but you took a drive at 4:30 in the morning??

I can't believe you install everything yourself; you should open a shop or something

Is there a specific pad size you're supposed to get? I was looking into getting Endless CC-R or CC-X.

nah, i started at 4pm and ended at 7pm. afterwards i was playing online FPS until 3:30am...

as for the pad sizes... just order the size for your model (track or non-track)... i was just stating what other applications the pads are used for.

FPS... Counterstrike addict?

Endless pads don't seem to be out yet though.

i vaguely remember someone posting to thread regarding the injen intake. you said up above that there is a significant change in the sound. from what i recall the other person was saying that the sound didn't change that much. on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest,
-how much difference do you feel power-wise? does it pull harder?
-how much difference is there in the sound?
-how hard was the install?

thanks

i was listening to it from in front of the car.. inside the car it sounds the same.
doesnt matter what i feel. the dyno on 2/22 will tell the tale.
different in sound inside:1/10 outside:6/10
install difficulty: pretty easy if you can read english and work on cars. 2/10
