Edit: I also think that the stock shifter is nice if a little tempermental at times, but that adjustable one wowed me!

if your looking for a small shortening, nismo shiftknob will shorten it a little...
the mossy one is a modified OEM one, i cant see why it would void ur warranty on what? If the shifter breaks, they're not gonna replace it. Mossy has a warranty for that. Instal it ur self, its pretty easy. Its the most expensive one, but for a reason.

I have the rogue engineering and its awesome. No problems at all. And no matter what some people say it def. made a big difference, it feels so much easier to shift now.

It took me about 3-4 weeks to get used to the harder shift effort and now I much prefer it. There's no way I could go back to stock.
There's a trick to installing the B&M shifter to remove any slop or vibration that I explained in another one of my posts a few months ago.

+1 Mine has been quiet and issue free since installing it over a year ago. I couldn't go back to stock now, no way. The B&M is the shortest throw IIRC.

I had the rogue before and started wishing I had the stock one put back in. The 350EVO is better but rattles

well it rattles sometimes but not always - i dunno it's moody i guess. The rattleing stops as soon as you touch the shifter and tug on it just the slightest - like if you're in 2nd gear and you pull it slightly more into 2nd gear if that makes sense - i'm talking barely touching/moving it though
I've had my mechanic mess with it a few times already and it always wants to come back to rattling. He's running out of ideas
what was the trick you used to install it?
it's so much smoother and quicker though I'm never taking it out. Other people who've driven my car have commented it feels really quick like a sequencial or something - not like your normal short shifter

You need to wrap the pivot housing in a couple of layers of stretched electrical tape. You don't even have to take the unit out. Just wrap the top 3/4" or so. Then greases on top of the tape and sound proof both boots for even better silence if you want. Be sure that the **** is all the way tight. It's easy to miss the last 360 degree turn. The final turn is fairly tight.
The tape mod gets rid of any remaining slop in the shifter.

It's easy and quick. Just be sure to clean the grease off of the housing so the tape will stick tight. Once it's taped, the housing should feel pretty snug in the transmission casing but still go up and down without binding. You have to play a little with the amount of tape you use. After I did this simple mod, the B&M was the total bomb!
