Yeah, I have the same problems in terms of shifting noise but I have no idea if it's normal or not.

Yes its normal, our tranny's are loud. And btw-06's have the $hit synchro issues as well, I know a guy with an 06' on his 2nd tranny in less than 5000 miles....

My 06 has 1400 miles and the tranny is the noisiest i've ever driven. It really rattles when I first let off the clutch unless I either let it out very easily or I time the clutch and gas perfectly.

I also get a "pop" when I push in the clutch fairly often.

Maybe its because I'm used to Honda trannies, but I hope the noise isn't an indicator of reliablity.

I was just going to post about this. Exactly the same issues...a lot of times 2nd wants to grind if I'm not careful? With 1500 miles? Are you kidding me?

Default '06 Tranny Replacemnt

All, I have a 2006 Base DB. Just replaced my tranny @ 2000 miles. It now shifts like it should have when new. Mine was hanging up between 3rd and 4th. SullyZ
