jwt flywheel with a stock clutch?
Ok so Im having a injen intake, motordyne 5/12 plenum spacer, and the green stuff brake pads installed on my 04 z. Next im thinking of a flywheel ive heard the jwt's are awsome. But ive only heard about the combos. Is it unwise to get just the flywheel? is there anyone here running a z with a stock clutch and a jwt flywheel? or should i just not be a cheap skate and get the jwt combo. lol thanks

yea i guess... i only have 22,000 miles on the car think its to soon to dump a good clutch tho? considering ive never had any problems with it? and also that like doubles my price
same sh*t your going to end up paying for a new install later anyway. i would wait and get a performance clutch to go along with flywheel. and it feels 1000000000000000000000 times better with the combo.
I also will be picking up a JWT flywheel soon.My thoughts on clutches is stock clutch would hold fine because I am NA and will stay NA.What I'm thinking of doing however is to use a Nismo pressure plate with an OEM disc.
If you do upgrade to a JWT clutch also purchase a release fork along with the release bearing and pilot bearing. From past experiences I now replace the release fork whenever the tranny is off, since they are cheap and good insurance. The added force it will take to release the JWT pressure plate puts alot more stress to an already heavily used release fork.
If you want a good proven clutch setup just get the JWT flywheel/clutch kit.

I had to replace my clutch @ 20,000 miles, dont ask me how. It was running fine and then it craped-out. I would agree with the others, do the clutch also. I have the JWT clutch/flywheel combo and it feels great.
