you canot use anywhere near a 13mm lift without new pistons, springs, valves, etc etc etc
The NISMO Type B Blanks can be ground to a max of 312 degrees of duration and .551 " lift. These are blanks that you would then need to have ground to spec.
I don't see how 11.5mm of lift would work with stock springs...you cannot even use stock springs on Tomei 268's (stock springs do not have enough travel)...but that's a different topic
Further, if this is a forced induction car, you are not going to need to worry as much about duration as lift

I've very aware on what it take to build and tune race engines having done it for a quite a few years in my own business.
Only came lookign for info on OTS cams. If my Nismo catalog was current, I wouldn't have had to ask!

biggest over the counter ones are the NISMO Spec 2, followed by Tomei. JUN has a grind they do that is 272 and I believe 11.5mm lift, but they are ground to order and not a part they list as a normal part (they've told us they will make them for us). Same cams they use on the Stream/Option Bonneville car.
I figured that with those power goals in mind, you were not using an OEM motor...my point was that any cam with that much lift cannot be used with even a stock replacement type piston - it would have to be a totally custom piston, which can lead to a custom rod, etc etc.

I don't see how 11.0mm of lift would work with stock springs...you cannot even use stock springs on Tomei 268's (stock springs do not have enough travel)...but that's a different topic . The max a NISMO spring can travel is what a Tomei 268 has lift wise. I know this because we originally were going to use the NISMO springs with the NISMO Spec 2 cams on Kwame's car, and now will be going to Supertech duals.
Adam
11mm lift is OK with the stock spring ( the JWT cam has a lift of 10.9mm and stock springs are OK)
Nismo use spring Part#13203-RRZ30-S with the Spec 2 284/11mm Cams

I am running 265D 11L intake and exhaust cams with over 12K miles. They have been great. Nice lope, excellent feel, and not even one CEL since install.
Doug's 292D 11L / 265D 11L are pretty sick. He does throw a CEL every now and then but no more than the JWT cams.
