Default Cooldown with Stock fans

Does any of you who are fimiliar with the Z's electrical system know where the radiator fan relay is located? I'm curious to know if it's possible to wire an ON/OFF switch to the relay to manually power the Fans on to cool off the car before shutting it off or after some hard driving, etc.

Did a few searches but found nothing useful.

There are three cooling fan relays located in the IPDM E/R. I believe relay 3 is low speed, relay 2 is ground and relay 1 is high speed.

Thanks DaveO. Unfortunately, I have no clue what IPDM E/R is or where it's located. It would be a huge help if you could chose an area from the picture attached (a,b,c,d,e,or f), so I could narrow down the search. Thanks!

I remember Mr. "I Make Draw"!!! That guy was funny when he first started his crap, but it got old really quickly.

Back on topic, I had thought about wiring an On/Off switch to be able to run the fans all the time as well. Any additional help would be great.

a lower theromostat would get your fans to stay on most of the time...nismo one kicks on just above like 110 correct?

For my 2004 G35,

the cooling fan relays are located within the IPDM E/R module, located in "B" in that drawing.

In my car it is located behind the battery and to the left...if I am standing in front of the car (putting the driver's side on the right) there is a plastic module you pull up on. under it you will see the fuses and relays.

According to the ESM the relays in here cannot be removed. Which is unfortunate for me because I believe my relays are bad (I am trying to resolve an overheat issue)... as of now it looks like I may need to replace my entire IPDM E/R module.

Thanks for the info tekk. Hope you find a fix for your cooling problem.
