Thumbs up

You are right except for one small detail.......
The sound clip is of you reving the engine while it is in neutral.
It sounds sooooo much better if you actually drive the car.

Had mine done this morning (Midas Mufflar $20.00) I like it a lot!!!

For all those who have cut the resignator - wait until you get an intake. You'll most likely like the sound a whole heck of a lot more - I do.

Actually, I already stated that in an earlier post in this thread, but even in gear, I don't care for the sound. Granted, sound is very subjective. Stillen exhaust should be here in 6-7 days.

Well, I have to say that I am not too impressed with Stillen's customer service. I ordered my exhaust from them on 2/14 and expected it to come 4-5 days (normal shipping time for ground delivery). I called them the following Monday or Tuesday and asked for the tracking number and they said that it hadn't shipped yet. This pissed me off because I had already arranged to use a buddies garage on Saturday to install the exhaust. Stillen told me to expect the Exhaust by Friday (2/21). Friday came and no exhaust, so I call them toward the end of the day on Friday and asked what was going on. I basically had to beat it out of them, but they finally admitted that they were backordered and they aren't keeping up with the demand. They assured me that it would ship either Monday or Tuesday this week(2/24 or 2/25), so I call at the end of today to check to make sure that it shipped and they said that it had not shipped because they have a machine that broke that is involved with making the exhaust. Stillen told me once again that it should ship this Friday (2/28). This is getting rediculous. I am thinking about canceling my order. Stillen doesn't seem to know how to take care of their customers IMO.

Stillen has never known how to take care of their customers. Some things never change. IMO when a company gets big enough to where they feel that customer service is no longer important, that's when it is time to stop dealing with that company. If only I had the option to excersize that opinion with the phone company!!! Stillen seems to think that their brand name is so powerful that it no longer matters what the customer wants. Don't even get me started on their blatantly false HP claims either

I think we all agree that the no-resonater sound when revving it in neutral is harsh. I love the no-resonater sound when driving, though, as in this clip.

I don't normally spend much time revving my car in neutral; do you?

I need to take another clip of it while accelerating, but from outside of the car. It sounds more like when it was in neutral. The inside of the car deadens a lot of the high pitched sound.

Good question -- Stillen still hasn't given me a straight answer on that.
