feedback wanted!.. car eating alot of oil... salvage title 350Z
So anyways, I got a salvage write off 350Z last oct, fixed it up.. runs fine.. except the oil seems to vanish.. it's burning it obviously since it's not dripping anywhere underneath.. 
So what should I do? Should I go bug the dealer about the oil consumption? I have the feeling they'll laugh at if they know it has a repaired title. Any dealers care to share thoughts if someone with a repair title 350Z trying to get warranty work?
Or will have to start saving my pennies and throw a built engine in next year along with a blower of some sort?
Also, on other warranty work, work as the fuel hose recall, and other TSB like the window grease (yeah.. my windows have streaks) Are Nissan dealerships still obligated to do that work even though it's a repaired title?

its no longer under warranty if its been in a major accident. Buying a car that has been salvaged is bad unless your going to use it for parts, fixing one up...when you cheap out you hit a roadblock.

It wasn't a major accident anywayss, broken rad support, rad, headlight, bumper and 2 control arms. No frame damage, I take it up to 200km/hour and it drives fine. :P

there are a number of folks selling stock shortblocks on here, i'd pick one of those up on the cheap and just swap yours out to see if it corrects the problem... if not, use that block to build a monster engine

A dealer is not obligated to do anything with or without a warranty. A dealer is just a service company with a direct reimbursement contract with Nissan....you pay for repairs or Nissan does.........they do what they know will be reimbursed, anything else must get Nissans or your written approval.
When a dealership sells you a new car they have some added obligations for the first 1 year or 12,000 miles.......otherwise the above applies.
A salavage title is not suposed to be driven on the roads or given a tag or insurance. Edmn? Canada are rules different?

Sorry for being vague. It was a written off car, which can be repaired and inspected and then deemed road worthy. The car then when registered again will have a "repaired" title.

I would argue about that since Nissan didn't examine the rebuild unclear what a Country [DOT/inspection] would know about a vehicles road worthiness?
TSB [technical sevice bulletin] are just instructions on how to examine for and repair a particular problem, there is no mandate that they have to be done unlike a RECALL.
A rebuilt car from a salvage title is not covered for anything I'm not sure even recalls apply?

I just spoke to our service manager...
If a car is Salvaged title NO warranty's apply to it...
NO seat belt warranty
NO service recalls...
NOTHING...
When they search the VIN in the NISSAN Warranty computer it comes up as the date the car went salvage as the cars warranty expiration date...

If a car is considered salvage, it isn't really a car anymore. What I mean is it was totalled out so it doesn't exist as far as the car manufacturer is concerned and will not be repaired under warranty. You can pay any dealership to fix any problem however.

haha, they'll probably ask for registration and it'll show "repaired"
It's such a shame they wrote it off. There was no frame damage at all., 2 control arms, the FRP rad support, rad, condensor and dmg to the hood and 1 fender...
The hardest thing about fixing it was pulling a dent out from underneath the passenger side skirt, that metal is strong as hell. We had to weld a tab onto it to pull out the dent. (not that we had to, it was just cosmetic.)
The alignment for the car came out better than some of alignment printouts I've seen here.
