Ok, quick question about AAM. I'm looking into the turbonetics ST soon and was thinking about taking the Z to AAM for the install and tune. I had a bad experience with them once before but it had to deal with ordering and not quality parts or mechanics. Has anyone had any issues with them doing a BAD tune or BAD install?

It ended up damaging the pinion bearing seal and could've potentially been ugly if something had gone wrong with the driveshaft itself. I didn't react well and flamed them about it.
Much to Mike's credit, we traded pm's and several phone calls to dicuss the issue at hand. They paid for transport of my car from NJ to the shop and did the repair at no charge. Frank took it for an extended drive, I think like 100 miles, to make sure nothing was wrong afterwards. I was able to get into BWI on the way back from a business trip and AAM paid for my ride from the airport to the shop to pick up the car, so I could drive it home.
They did what was necesary to make it right.
That said, the initial problem was not due to Frank, it was because of the other guy who isn't even there anymore. Frank is a top-notch mechanic and a very classy guy. He even called me after the inital problem to apologize though it wasn't his fault. The man does first rate work, treats each car like his own Z and I would not hesitate to have him work on my car again. If there's a single reason to go to AAM, its to have him work on your car.
