Default rought idle

Hey I have an 06 enth auto and recently I've noticed that when I'm sitting at a light it feels like it shudders and feels like it wants to shut off or something. other than that it drives just as well if not a little better than it did before. Not really sure what the problem is. Could it be my popcharger and it like starving for air or something?

Also sometimes when I'm shifting it in manual mode it like hesitates between 3rd and 4th but it didn't used to do that. I'm gonna take it in tommorow but was wondering if any of ya'll had any ideas as to what the problem might be.

oh yea and suddenly my ac just stopped working. Like it still blows air but it never gets cold. I was thinking it may have run out of freon(sp) but I've only got 11500 and owned it since march so I wouldn't think that would be it. And it literally quit from like working at 3:00 and not working at like 3:20 wierd lol

Swap the pop charger for the OEM airbox and see what it does.

If you watch the Best Motoring 350Z shock. Gonsan the old man test drove it, he didnt like the vibration on idle, said it felt like a cheap car or something like that. kinda weird also feels like there is a problem withthe engine like some kind of slodge build up or something. but my dealer said its normal for z's this better be true or im gonna raise hell over there. let me know what you find out.

thats interesting to hear. See I didn't notice it until maybe the last 500 or so miles. I don't see how I wouldn't have noticed it before. I didn't notice it before when my popcharger fell off and was just laying there. So I'm interested in what they say

Yes it could be your popcharger, theres been countlesss threads of why my Z stalls or flutters? and the answer is your popcharger. As for the lunging in gears, thats what you get for buying an auto, just one of those things. Your air sounds like it needs a recharge, but your still in warranty no? better safe then sorry so have them check it out if its free and you got time.

Found out that my hose cracked so all my freon leaked out. They are trying to say that its my pop charger and that it rubbed on it and poked a hole in the METAL hose. I think that sounds like bs and they are saying its not covered by warranty

I hate to say it, but they are probably telling the truth. That's a gotcha more people should be aware of, and isn't the first time it's happened to someone. That line can end up directly under the metal edge of the filter cone if you aren't careful with your install. Attention should be paid to this when you mount it so there is a enough space to allow for some movement from vibration without contacting the line.

Easy fix: raise idle by using the cipher tool by AAM (perhaps someone in your local area has one), or take it to a dealer and ask them to raise idle. Some dealers may do it, others may not.
