Default Odd noise when clutch is released

Alright so let me start off by saying I did a search but I didn't come up with anything exactly like what I'm experiencing.
Ocasionally when I let out the clutch it makes sort of a metalic rubbing sound. It's hard to describe exactly (as you can probably tell) but its basically sounds the same as when I put the car in neutral and let out the clutch just louder and in a short burst. I read that the neutral noise is normal so I'm hoping this is too. I've yet to find a pattern to it, it doesn't seem to matter what RPM I shift at or how much gas I give it etc. seems completely random. It usually happens once or twice in an average drive. I've read that this transmission is noisy so I'm hoping this is just one of those things but figure I'd ask on here just to be safe.

Oh and I have an 06 350Z w/ 780 miles.

well, when i'm pulling into my driveway very slowly and i engage the clutch to go into neutral, i hear that metallic rubbing noise that you're referring to. it happens everytime. i've researched it and found out it's normal. try shifting thru gears at a stop...these trannies are loud! just make sure you don't hear any grinding.

Ok let me clarify it a bit this isn't happening when I'm in neutral etc. it does sound the same as that but it happens at any speed changing between gears so it happense like this [clutch in]-[shift to any gear]-[let out clutch]-[*noise*] the noise happense when the clutch pedal is entirely out.

Maybe were talking about the same thing just want to clarify to be sure.

if the noise occurs when transmission is in gear with clutch out and your driving....something is wrong, i'll take it in for service.

Ok so a bit of an update/new information not sure if it reall makes a difference but here it is.

I went on a longer drive today and determined that the noise is only occuring between 2nd-3rd gear so its [in 2nd]-[clutch in]- [shift to 3rd]- [clutch out]*noise* its only happening at RPM's higher than 3500-4000 I don't know if it happens higher because the car is still on breakin and I haven't gone any higher. However it still isn't happening at every 2nd to 3rd shift at 3.5K+ RPM's, just some of them.

I'm calling the dealer tommorow but does anyone have any idea what it could be at least?

Well after some more research and it seems that other people are getting it to. Supposedly it is the clutch springs and its normal.
