Got my UR crank pulley installed about 3-4 weeks ago. As of a few days ago, when I start my car up after not running it for a good few hours, when the engine turns on, there is a loud 1-2 second squeaking noise from the front of the engine. I have a feeling it might be the UR pulley belts loosening up, does that sound like what it would be?

yeah loose belts or water on belts. Baby powder it a little to make sure its belts. If teh noise goes away..its the belts.

 

I did a lot of research before I got my UR crank pulley and I found out that you should re-tighten the belts after around 500 miles or so...

My belts squeaked almost right at the 500 mark...after about 3 attempts at tightening, the noise went away.
