Timing Belt???
I know we have timing chains on the 3.5L. I was just browsing around the vividracing.com site and came accross a timing belt for the 350z? Is there a conversion to use a belt and if so, WHY? I'm not interested in making the switch, just curious.

I think that's just the regular engine belts. "timing belt" is a misnomer.
You are correct, we have a timing chain on our engines. It's under the timing cover which faces the front of the engine bay.

The timing chain is considerably stronger and more durable than a textile belt. Its lifespan usually exceeds that of the engine, although I always replace them (together with the pulleys and guides) whenever I rebuild a motor.
