Default Greddy Twin Turbo

This is a quote taken from a twinturbo.net member "Spongerider"

"I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but Greddy has built a blue 350Z TT with a front mount IC. It looks pretty DOPE! And after talking to Kenji (head engineer of Greddy) this is what he told me. The 350Z TT has a twin TD05-18g, yes I said 18g!! Also he mentioned it would be running only about 8-9 psi with a estimated 450hp without touching the engine. Also we all know TD05-18gs are good for 600 + rwhp. so well see when they do touch the motor. The setup is very clean, reliable and looks tight! Kenji also said it took him 3 weeks to develop their kit, not bad. I can't wait til their testing is done. I didn't take any pics because I forgot my camera but I'm sure someone will soon."

I'm just postin what I read...DOn't attack me please

The kit is real. It was tested last week. I posted it already on the forum under reviews. Here is the link for it: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=22173

The pictures have been on my websites for quite a while at either:
http://www.streetsports.com/Tune/350Z/GReddy.htm
or
http://www.350tuner.com/greddy.htm

There is an ongoing information thread in this very forum at:
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=22182

I'm not attacking you. Just informing you. By following the existing threads, it makes it much easier on every member to search for subjects on this site.

No no no, you got me all wrong. By attack I meant that I didn't want people to say "********" etc, cuz I was just the messenger.

No problem. Sorry I misunderstood. Wife was about to go to bed. Tried to finish the reply quick so I could tell her goodnight and I thought it might have sounded sorta blunt. But thanks for trying to keep people posted.

I made this a separate post because I thought twin turbos were different than a single turbo. ANd the numbers that were quoted are way higher than the ones in the original thread. My quote says around 450hp...

SO i'm confused...IDK much about modding cars...I thought that post was about a single turbo, and my post was about twin turbos..

Can you clarify? I'm kinda new

There's no problem being new. That's half the point of this (and other) forums. Heck, if we were all geniuses, we wouldn't need anybody else but ourselves. Some of the posts even make me think. Sometimes I have to re-evaluate things I have learned in the past and compare them to new technology and ideas. But that's just fine with me. That is proof that I have 'genuine' knowledge, and that I didn't just memorize some textbook somewhere. But anyway, the point is that you should keep doing what you are doing, it's the only way you will ever go from being new, to being a guru. Then you can start helping other new people. If more people would do that, instead of being selfish, this would be a better place.

BTW, yes. The GReddy turbo kit, as well as the Power Enterprise kit, is based on twin turbos. The GReddy kit will not be able to put out that kind of power until the spark management system can be controlled to retard timing and reduce the chance for detonation. But it will eventually be done. It always is.

18g refers to the size of the turbo not the price.
