Check the level. The dip stick is hard to read and the service center may have overfilled it.

Park it on as level surface as you can find and let it sit for about 5 mins or so (less time if its at operating temp). Take the dip stick out, wipe it off, and reinsert it. Take it out again and check the level. And even then it is hard to get an accurate read.

you can try to disconnect the battery and go from there (resetting the ecu). If not, it sounds like your sending unit went bad

My bet would be damaged sensor during your oil change.

Take it back there and show them that they fukked up.

I am having the same issue. Started today but my last oil change was ~2800 miles ago. I'm going to unplug to battery and see if it works, if not then I'll take it in.

Posted many times here before. Pegged out oil pressure means a damaged oil sensor. Stop wasting your time.

It is so easy to replace, anyone could do it. If you can change your oil filter, you're in. It's right there next to it IIRC, and all you need is a BIG wrench, or transducer socket. Unless it's covered by warranty, you're better off buying a wrench or socket and doing it yourself. The labor alone will pay for the tools.

I think it's the oil pressure sending unit too. That's funny.

Default Got a new oil pressure sending unit

So I bought a new pressure sending unit and I'm going to replace it this weekend. Anyone have instructions or a scan of instructions on how to do it?

Are there specific torque specs etc.?

The oil pump in the Zs are really good. The pressure when starting it up sends the oil way up in the dipstick rubber seal.

the Z's oil pressure has little to do with the pump, actually

but yes, this car has exceptionally high oil pressures - good tolerances will do that

I installed the new pressure sensor. Fixed the problem perfectly and was pretty easy to do.

Also note to those about to change this, removing the sensor results in oil coming dripping out of the engine. Thought I'd help my fellow Z drivers to not swallow oil like me.

Default torque settings

Oh and I believe the torque setting was 18, either way lower then my torque wrench so just hand tightening worked fine.

5w30? or 10w30? The 5w30's taste like ketchup after a while.
