Default Clutch MIGHTY SOFT!? what gives??

OK guys this may sound like a gay/retarded question and have looked up stuff on clutch with the search but to much to look through. I have an 06 Base model and noticed over the last week or so that my clutch seems softer
then when I initially bought the car and that slippin into and out of the gears feels a little to damn smooth to what Iam used to, I know the Z's tranny is kinda notchy but the shifters feelin a lil bit looser and getting into my gears takes little to no effort. The car has bout 6,500 miles on it .......ummm is this normal???

Thanks for your opinions/flamin lol

Which is it? The clutch pedal is softer/mushier or the gear shift is softer/less notchy? Maybe you're just growing up and getting more muscles.

2005 and up have different clutch pedals, much softer than the previous years but the pressure plate has a higher clamp load then previous years.

ummm well I had a 05 Z but had 16000 when I bought it and traded it in after a few months, some of the gears were grinding so i said F it and bought a spanking new one. The clutch pedal is softer then a few weeks ago......getting into gears is easier then when I initially 1st bought it. I was like ummmmm wtf, shifting has never been this easy in my 06 Z or the 05 granted it was grinding gears. O well again I know its a dumb question but just wanted to see if anyone else is noticing this with the 06 model!
