Default Corner weighted my car today, plus alignment.

Left Front: 916 Right Front: 901
Left Rear: 792 Right Rear: 778

Front Weight: 53.6%
Rear Weight: 46.4%

Car Weight w/ Driver: 3387 lbs
My weight: 170

I have Tein coil-overs. Don't ask me how much I lowered the car, because I simply have no idea. The dumbass that I am, forgot to measure stock height, so if anyone could give me the stock height including where they measured from I'd much appreciate it. I'll measure the height of my car (or from center of wheel to fender) and list them later on. I'll also list the specific places from where I measured.

Basically, Darin from West End alignment, lowered the car according to how much weight/pressure was applied to the springs while I was in the car. He seemed to do a pretty good job because the car does handle better. I'll get a better analysis this Friday when I go to Buttonwillow raceway.

My camber is set close to -2 right now. For the shocks, the stiffness is set at 3 down from hardest.

If anyone in So Cal wants to get alignment done or corner weighted, go to West End alignment. Darin always does an awesome job.

if you don't mind saying, how much did it cost to get your car corner weighted? and did they adjust the height accordingly?

I'm just waiting for my Nismo sways b4 I go on and install my Teins.

Stock ht of car measured from center of wheel to edge of fender is 370 mm front and back. I also measured the lowest point of car w/c is the cat directly behind the front wheels and came up w/ approx 115 mm. So if Tein's reference adjustments brings the car down to 90 mm, then its more than the earlier noted 10 mm drop that people have been talking about. I can't wait ... The 90 mm ground clearance is good though, this is what I'm running on my IS300 w/c is lowered on Tein HAs

BTW, where is your alignment shop at?

Yes, I did. I felt a difference. Now, instead of a "boinga boinga boinga", my car just goes over them with a nice little "bump."

Moroccan_Mole, it cost $110 for corner weighting, and yes, they adjusted the height according to the amount of pressure applied by the corners of the car w/ me in it.

blaque, the alignment shop is in Gardena. Also, thanks for the stock measurements!

See you at the Track on Fri Integrate. I got your PM's but was out of town. Sorry I didn't answer. Look for the Black 350Z with the "FEARMYZ" plate. Park there and we can hang. I'll bring my digicam.

about 1/4 tank (roughly 70 miles till empty).

Thanks for reminding me about that. I would edit my original post, but it's past 30 minutes since when I first posted it.

raceboy, I'll definitely see you there! I can't wait to see how this car does on the track.

Darin really do an excellent job overall. He's put on some Eibachs on my M3 and did an AWESOME job in aligning the car. I would also HIGHLY recommend West End Alignment.

Also, for you Bimmer owner in the LA area, the shop adjacent to West End Alignment is South Bay Independent, owners name is Hoa. They're also an excellent outfit and highly recommended.

Integrate, thanks for the info. on the suspension upgrade. I am also planning to take my Z to Darin soon. Still haven't decide which kit yet.

Once you do go to Darin for suspension tuning, be sure to know the stock measurements/heights of the car. That will definitely help him. I believe my car was the first Z he corner-weighted so he was tuning the coils by instinct.
