Default Engine head.

Which one would you recommend in terms of performance and reliability on a twin turbo Z33? I have an intrest on the Nismo heads or Cosworth heads which one would you prefer?

Reliability is not really something to worry about with heads. The Cosworth heads are fully ported and will make good power. The Nismo heads would be a poor choice for turbo use because they raise the compression ratio.

Will the nismo camshafts raise compression ratio also?

cams have nothing to do with compression

NISMO heads are not for use on a FI car.

For a bolt on solution, the Cosworth heads are a great option. Or, you can buy a spare set of heads and have a local machine shop to you port, polish and work it that way (might end up being more cost effective).

not 100% sure if the heads from the Maxima would work...I'd suspect they would but I'd do research if I were you

If you are after a set of Z heads, let us know...we have a set for sale that is complete, perfect for someone building heads

Can you send me a PM on prices. My car is finally about to get out of the shop with all bodywork/paint/wheels/tires so now I'm starting to look at more supporting mods for FI. -I want to drive my car for a little while (haven't driven it really in about a year) then when winter hits get the interior and FI done.

If you think cams have anything to do with compression ratio I suggest you do a little more research on things before you go spend some serious $$$ for FI stuff. Just so you know what to expect and know what your buying.

Static compression ratio is pretty meaningless except at cranking. Because rarely does anything close to atmospheric pressure ever get into cylinder except near the torque peak rpm.

As the dynamic [running] compression is controlled by the VE which is a function of cam shaft duration and lift.
