Notice that the National Highway of Transportation Safety Administration was mentioned in the article.
We all need to file a complaint on NHTSA website, and add a safety issue with the complaint.

The dealer went to bat for me because they get paid by NNA to do the work. They (the dealer) wanted the revenue so they lobbied on my behalf (this is what they told me on the phone).
Although it's still very early on th enew motor - so far, so good. 350 miles and zero change on the dipstick.

It's time WE initiated a possible recall, not NNA.

So I was gonna go back to Nissan today and tell them that I would like them to replace my engine like 9kfever said I should. But before I went my service guy calls me and tells me that he just heard back from NNA and there is a new engine that is out...He just ordered it and will be in Monday..Hmmm...is this gonna be the V2 or something different.

^ See if you can confirm part number they ordered for you.
If it's different to what ZeeForce listed below, then maybe there is a V3 becoming available.
Keep us posted on that...thanx.

My car is also in OC testing as well.
I got a call from NNA, and talked with Rep. Right off the bat asked what do I want from NNA.
I told them I want brand new Eng with 100K 7year bumper to bumper.
Also I think there is whole new eng better then V2.
AKA. V3.
She will be calling me on monday for follow up on my request.
FYI my 06 6MT OC about 1.5 Qts of Oil was burned away in 1200 miles.
