Is the lemon law different in CA, because I live in FL and I searched and it only says that the car is covered for 24 months after the car is delivered to the consumer. It doesn't say anything about miles either?? Anybody know more details.

I said "Yes", nothing to hide, everything I stated on the complaint, NNA already knows. I also want NNA to know who is complaining, because they (NNA) do not seem to care.

Notice that the National Highway of Transportation Safety Administration was mentioned in the article.

We all need to file a complaint on NHTSA website, and add a safety issue with the complaint.

The dealer went to bat for me because they get paid by NNA to do the work. They (the dealer) wanted the revenue so they lobbied on my behalf (this is what they told me on the phone).

Although it's still very early on th enew motor - so far, so good. 350 miles and zero change on the dipstick.
Congrats and thanks for sharing your experience, I wish all could go as smooth as yours did. How about filling out the the V stats template, for when I post up another updated list?

Thanks in advance and enjoy that new engine.

After going back and forth with NNA a couple times, I got them to give me $5000.

No updates on my V1 though

So I was gonna go back to Nissan today and tell them that I would like them to replace my engine like 9kfever said I should. But before I went my service guy calls me and tells me that he just heard back from NNA and there is a new engine that is out...He just ordered it and will be in Monday..Hmmm...is this gonna be the V2 or something different.

^ See if you can confirm part number they ordered for you.
If it's different to what ZeeForce listed below, then maybe there is a V3 becoming available.

Okay I'll check and see if I can get the part number. The service guy said that the part should be in Monday and will call me to set up an appointment to install.

My car is also in OC testing as well.

I got a call from NNA, and talked with Rep. Right off the bat asked what do I want from NNA.

I told them I want brand new Eng with 100K 7year bumper to bumper.

Also I think there is whole new eng better then V2.

AKA. V3.

She will be calling me on monday for follow up on my request.

FYI my 06 6MT OC about 1.5 Qts of Oil was burned away in 1200 miles.

+1. Keep us posted ngynnhu on the engine# they ordered for you. It can only be one of two things: Either they are now finally openly recognizing the AC7MZ as the new replacement engine, or there is indeed a V3 out now (which I doubt). Will be good to know.
