What Psi should my oil be at during mid to heavy acceleration? I never noticed it before but I started hitting 90-120 psi. Does that sound right?
I'm running synthetic oil and recently have changed it with a new filter.

+1
The only time I ever see 120 PSI is if I blip the throttle a little when the engine is stone cold in the morning.
If I saw 120 under moderate acceleration on a well warmed up motor, I would kinda start to freak a little.

The critical oil pressure occurs in extreme hot weather* at idle...........other than that 10 psi per 1000 rpm is enough.
Oil pressure varies with brand of oil and it's real instanteous viscosity [temp curve]
*coolant at 200F and oil sump at 220F.............afterall the bearings/under piston crowns are running 300-350F.
