Does this sound like a Clutch problem?
Over the last few weeks, I have noticed some problems.
1. My cruise-control shuts off whn I am going up hills.
2. Sometimes, my clutch doesn't release. I have to pull it back up with my foot. This has only happened a few times, but it is a problem.
3. When I am driving down the highway, I will speed up to pass somebody. The RPM's will jump 2,000 rpm's or so, and then come back down and catch. There is usually a 1 or 2 second delay.
Does this sound like the clutch? If so, is this covered under warranty?

Im not much of a warrenty Guy ---Many times I will just fix it myself and eat the cost cuz I want it done my way, not the dealers way. But someone will chime in here and if not ,I will look it up---If u have ur books it will tell u in there-----Clutchs and brakes are a grey area with warrenty at times

The Z broke today. I left for work this morning, and I had a real hard time getting up to speed. The car would rev up, and then it would finally grab. I made it to Terre Haute ok, and I could smell something burning. When I went to lunch, I had a real hard time getting out of the parking lot. I drove it to Sycamore Checy/Nissan to get the clutch checked out. The mechanic came out to drive it, and he couldn't get it to move. I told him the problems I was having, and he said it was the clutch and flywheel. The manager said that this was not under warranty. He quoted me a price of $1,800 installed. That is with a new clutch and flywheel. I said ok, and went to Finzel's. I ordered a JWT lightweight flywheel and a heavy duty clutch. It will cost a little over $850 shipped overnight from Texas. They are suppose to start on it Wednesday. The light weight flywheel is 14 pounds versus 28lbs of the stock flywheel. The clutch is rated to hold over 500 pounds of TQ!!!!!!! I am not to mad at Sycamore for not supporting this under warranty because I was going to do this mod eventually.

2. bleed your clutch and replace the fluid, or your master and/or slave (is there a slave on these?) might be done
3. your clutch is shot
