Default Really loud Kaaz LSD

Hi all!
Just got a KAAZ LSD put into the car, it was set to 100% lock 1.5 way. Is it normal for the car to sound like its got a broken diff when doing slow corners? The diff locks up beautifully (and is silent) when i'm half throttle or more, but slow, its so loud and clunky and grindy that people stop and stare in the street!? Would it be a hard process changing it to 60% locking instead?

When doing slow stuff like parking by standers will look at u as wtf is wrong with your car. Not happy with it sell it and by a ATS.

Otherwise go nuts and enjoy the diff

I get grinding like that with my nismo, discount tire employees thought they ruined my wheels because it kept locking.. I laughed and said its normal because I have an aftermarket LSD, they looked at me with the "deer in the headlights look"

When the left & right drives are turning the wheels at the same speed simultaneously, on a slow turn you feel the wheels kicking. In most cases, in a turn, the inner wheel turns slower than the outer wheel.

go to your local ford dealership buy some limited slip additive. it will smoothen the engagement. but at 100% lock what did you expect.

Since Kaaz and Nismo are both clutch type lsd's, it is normal for you to get a popping noise when making slower turns. You can use Redline/Royal purple to ease the noise they create, but it will always be there.

Just an update for everybody who read the first post.
After 3000km's, the diff is really quiet when driven normally, and locking is nice and quick and strong. It's definitely very streetable after a good break-in period. The popping is only really noticeable when i'm going up a ramp and turning at the same time (eg in a carpark).

Kazz makes the noise weather 1.5 or 2 way. now did you break it in properly. And dont throw any old additive in use the proper oils and you will be fine.

cliff notes for some people
kaaz-noisy as f*CK
nismo/ cusco MZ- just plain noisy
Cusco RS- quiet, but not all sound is muted
ats carbon- from what i hear is dead silent like stock

also, from this list, the less noisy the lsd the more expensive:
