Update: I am moving towards my performance setup now. I have been paying on other stuff over the last couple of months, but putting money in the Z now. I just purchased an Injen intake. I am selling my JWT popcahrger if anybody wants it. I am glad I waited to buy an exhaust becuase I am going to go with the X02 exhaust over the HKS.
Mod Plans:
Headers: Alphawerks
Exhaust: X02
Pullies: Unorthodox
Test Pipes: Crawford or Helix
Spacer: Motordyne 5/16
Clutch/Flywheel: JWT - Already Installed
Intake: Injen - Shipping
Cams: ?

lol ... the only before/after dyno I've ever seen with a long tube CAI, it lost power
99.9% of people don't bother with dynos, they just listen to people like you and waste money

Here's what it will cost me for the setup I am going with:
Exhaust: X02 Shipped $595
Intake: Injen $190 Purchased (New in box from my350z member)
Pulley Set: $300
Helix Test: $100 (Pending Order my350z member)
Alphawerks Headers: $300 to $350
Spacer: Motordyne 5/16 $243
JWT Clutch/Flywheel - $1000 Installed - Already Done
I will probably switching out the gears and will be getting a Utec, MREV2 also, but you can still see the prices above equal $2,753. But, most of these parts would be needed for the FI setup anyway.

your NA gain would on be 25 max, where 6g total for bolt on vortech (parts/labor) nets u +80 hp on oem g35/350z. I think its a no brainer.

Does the Alphawork header dyno include other parts? Does the alphawork dyno sheet look off (Like they under estimated the stock run)?

Overall, what I would say is that if you are willing to pay top dollar on parts, you might aswell SAVE for FI because you are going to run into a lot of cars on and off the track that will straight skunk most 350Z's which are all motor.
You will more than likely grow-out of your NA power goals and want for more in which most of your parts wouldn't be compatible with any FI parts and even more money goes down the drain.
If you drive the car conservatively with occasional moments of spirited driving, with an FI application, your car will be fine (providing proper install and tune).
I had my TN kit on for awhile and never ran into any serious problems.

All this talk about go FI or go home sickens me . If i had the funds i would but for right now im staying with na mods . I will be more than happy with those mods until i save up for some type of supercharger in the future .
I think the Xo2 is NOT a good choice considering your looking for "top quality" NA mods. By choosing a knockoff exhaust you are not really achieving your goals. Stick to quality with your basic mods. It will give you a good foundation for FI in the future ... or if you end up being satisfied with your quality NA set-up then you can leave it at that.

Just kinda waiting to see more options on rev-up cams, but they'll be on the list sooner or later.
Personally I'm trying to keep an sc in mind with the stuff I'm doing to my car, but even that is last on the list for me. It's not all about bottm line, bang for buck power, but also about keeping active in my favorite hobby. Putting in the work, time, etc and seeing results is a blast for me.

Very well put. I think this should have been very helpful to the OP. Granted everyone has different budgets and priorities. Its all about going at your own pace and having fun doing what you love. But at the same time be smart about it ... as you are going through your list, do not loose sight of FI. It might end up saving you wasted time and money when your not happy with your end NA results. Alot of the experienced guys on here have made there mistakes and this forum is in place so that you dont have to. Goodluck

I will most likely go with the X02 over the HKS becuase they are almost identical. I am not going to pay an extra $1,000 for a name, when I can get the same HP and TQ numbers with a cheaper system. Currently, all of my mods excepts for the intake will work with a supercharger setup in the future if I decide to go that way. Right now, I am just trying to push my NA setup. I just sent the money out for my Helix test pipes. What cams should I go with? I am not sure what brand or size I should go with.
