Totally in there with the last few posts. I don't wanna go boom, + with wife, kids, and other streams sucking my cash NA build up is great since it can be done piece by piece. Can't do that with turbo. I'm right there with the poster thinking cams, though head work is a new thought for me. Just kinda waiting to see more options on rev-up cams, but they'll be on the list sooner or later.

Personally I'm trying to keep an sc in mind with the stuff I'm doing to my car, but even that is last on the list for me. It's not all about bottm line, bang for buck power, but also about keeping active in my favorite hobby. Putting in the work, time, etc and seeing results is a blast for me.

Do the Cams on the RevUp engine. JWT says that the S7 cams don't effect the low end at all due to the VTC and really are great up top. It's a no lose as you can always keep them with the turbo or supercharger.

but its a slip fit design.....ewwwwww (though it is a tad lighter since it has no flanges). Injen also never has them available (been months now)

the only thing that extra .25 inch is going to get you is a louder tone...it's not going to net any more power, at all

My weaksauce 2.25" (measured at 2" inside diameter!) gave my great performance NA, good gains with minimal to no loss in down low TQ, and compared to other Z's at a dyno day, it didnt lose as much TQ up top (which may explain my traps some). Remember guys, 2.25" is plenty for only 3 cylinders worth of air!

Basicly 2 inch's for a 1.75 liter engine that is only reveing to 7000rpm. Sounds about right to me. I ran a 2.5inch on my 2.0 that spun to 8000rpm and made 190whp. Some people with my same old setup ran 3 inch with success but it was way to loud for me.

I agree it's a superfuel and has similar properties to FI with more air and fuel

I for one am going to stay NA for a while. Everyone has FI these days. I do like the road less traveled. Plus as Alberto says, who wants to lay in bed and wonder if tomorrow will be the day you go boom. Now i know if you set the car up right with a built block and a good tune its alot safer. But then you are into alot of money ( 10 to 15k ).

I have had alot of fun over the past 4 years playing around with different mods. Been through every plenum that Kinetix has to offer and wound up going with crawford in the end. I enjoy my Injen exhaust and test pipes now, but that was only after having a X-pipe installed to get rid of the rasp.

At this point i am looking at the 3.9 gears and the head and cam package. I have a set of heads sitting in my garage, just need to have them sent out. Still researching cams though.

My mods are in my sig and the last dyno had me at 267hp and 248tq. Still need to dyno my intake setup since i changed out to the larger MAF housing.

Everyone? I'd bet you less than 5% of the 350Zs on the road have been converted to FI. You just don't see people exclaiming "I'm staying NA", unlike those who need to strut post-FI install. The vast majority of us will remain NA.

I bet there are more than 5%, buts thats just me.

Ok, sorry. Its just about every thread i read in the modification section talks about FI in some way and how NA is such a waste of time.

I do enjoy being NA and seeing what the car is able to do with out FI. Im just glad more people are pushing the engine in its NA form.

Yes, I like NA also (No Spray). I get my popcharger tomorrow. I am going to order the 5/16 spacer on Friday.
